Monday Minute: Granny Smith Apple

“No one ever complains about a speech being too short.” – Ira Hayes

Hi friend!

It is time for your FEARLESS MONDAY MINUTE!

A question that I get often is, “What to eat before a big presentation or event?”

Here’s what not to eat . . . CHIPOTLE!

I know that when the stakes are high and I’m fired up, my stomach is a gold medalist olympic tumbler. Dairy and beans are a HARD NO!

A great pre-event snack, however, is a GRANNY SMITH APPLE! Click the link above to see why!

Have a fabulous and fearless week!

Fearlessly yours,

Eduardo

It is time for your Fearless Monday Minute. Imagine this, you’re 45 minutes/an hour away from a big presentation. All of a sudden your stomach starts to grumble. You’ve been so stressed, you’ve been procrastinating and you’ve forgotten to eat appropriately. Now, I’m going to tell you that Chipotle is probably not the best idea for you before you give a presentation. It’s gonna make you feel heavy, and all that dairy is going to create all types of havoc in your vocal cords. However, a wonderful treat for you and this is an old opera singer trick is a Granny Smith apple. Now why? I’m gonna give you three reasons why this granny smith apple is the secret weapon: It has malic acid, so one, it is going to clean your mouth which is divine, luscious, special. Number two, the increased acidity is going to get rid of a lot of the mucus that you have. And number three, the high water content is going to hydrate you. So a Granny Smith apple a day ensures that you’re speaking will slay.
